These classes are suitable for both beginners and returners. They will encourage whole body awareness and give you an opportunity for self inquiry and reflection. Using movement, meditation and relaxation to nourish your body and *mind.

*mind (the mind includes all mental activity such as thoughts, feelings, emotions, perceptions and judgements)

Regular practice of yoga can have many benefits on the body, mind and spirit. Some of these are

  • more awareness of your own wants and needs
  • deeper connection with self and others

Mindfulness Meditation and Relaxation

For those who are limited mobility or looking for more relaxation, there are Meditation and Relaxation classes available. These classes combine gentle floor based stretches, meditation/mindfulness and deep relaxation techniques (yoga nidra). These promote release of tension in the physical, mental and emotional bodies.
